Season 1

Episode 144: Sarah Sanger

In this episode of Intermittent Fasting Stories, Gin talks to Sarah Sanger from San Diego, CA.

Let me tell you about the Delay, Don’t Deny Social Network! Besides the freedom of IF, community is what I most want to offer the world. Instead of relying on the big social network most of us have been on for years, we now have a community that is completely separate and just for us.

Members of the DDD Social Network have access to all episodes of Intermittent Fasting Stories within the DDDSN platform, ad-free!  That’s just one reason to join.

Visit dddsocialnetwork.com  to see what else we offer in our membership community. An annual membership is $59.95 and you have access to dozens of groups that we created with you in mind.  You can join as many groups as you want and connect with members who share your interests.  If you aren’t ready to fully commit for a year, join for $9.99 a month and you can cancel at any time. If you know you’ll want to stay forever, we also have a lifetime membership option available.

IF is free. You don’t need to join our community to fast. But if you’re looking for support from a community of like-minded IFers, we are here for you at dddsocialnetwork.com.

Sarah found that she struggled in her relationship with food: she was either feeling guilty or deprived, no matter what she ate. Diet mindset controlled her.

Sarah first learned about IF from her dad, who is an Anesthesiologist. He shares IF with everyone who will listen, but Sarah always opposed it.

After a food-indulgent vacation in December of 2019, she finally decided to give 16:8 a try. She has lost 12 pounds, and currently follows a 21:3 protocol.

Sarah has had many non-scale victories. Her tastes have dramatically changed. She now craves all sorts of veggies and loves to cook! Her anxiety has drastically improved, as IF helps her to feel more calm.

Sarah’s advice to new IFers: “The first few weeks are hard, but you’ll be so glad that didn’t give up. Give IF a chance!”
