Lucy is a primary school cookery teacher and also a Delay, Don’t Deny group moderator.
Lucy shares: “I never really had a massive weight issue. I was only ever 10-15 pounds overweight.” After trying to help her partner lose weight, Lucy realized that calorie reduction was not the answer.
In August of 2017, Lucy found Delay, Don’t Deny through a friend, and joined the DDD Facebook group. Lucy had followed Michael Mosley’s 5:2 protocol, (five days a week ‘normal’ eating days, the other two were fasting days of 500-600 calories) and decided to switch to OMAD, One Meal A Day. IF feels natural and easy to Lucy.
With IF, Lucy has experienced the best sleep of her life. Plus, no weight gain from menopause!
The advice she’d give to new IFers: “Eat real food and enjoy it. Relax into the IF lifestyle. You don’t need supplements. Your body knows what to do.”
