Stephanie is currently working towards becoming an IF coach, with an emphasis on women after menopause

For many years, Stephanie struggled with binge eating, and felt obsessed with food. Her path to intermittent fasting began when she had a double mastectomy and her ovaries removed in 2017. This sent Stephanie into medical menopause, which was very difficult for her. She gained weight, went into depression, and felt lost.

Then in 2019, Stephanie heard about intermittent fasting through a TED Talk given by Cynthia Thurlow.

The pandemic hit in March of 2020, and this also began Stephanie’s IF journey. She gradually moved to a 16:8 protocol, and feels her best this way.

Stephanie has lost 13 pounds, but focuses more on how her clothes fit. “I’m the happiest in my body that I’ve ever been!”

Stephanie decided to go back to school to become a certified IF coach to help other women experiencing menopause. She teaches how IF can help with that major transition.

Her advice to the new IFer: “Start slow and steady. Listen to your body. Read everything you can on IF, and the science behind it.”
