Hazel tried her first diet at 14 years old, and was always on a diet until she found intermittent fasting.

By December of 2020, with two kids under three and a stressful year of Covid, Hazel found herself at her highest weight of 148 pounds (she is 4′ 11”). She felt like a failure.

In one of her Facebook groups, she read a post from someone who talked about intermittent fasting. Hazel did an internet search and found Gin’s book Delay, Don’t Deny. After reading it, Hazel knew that IF was the answer!

Hazel has lost 25 pounds. Fasting has changed the way she approaches life, and she now feels in control.

Her advice: “This is your journey. Go slow. Take it easy, and take it one day at a time. IF is for healing, not just weight loss. Think of it as an approach for the rest of your life, not just temporarily.”
