Lois is a writer and educator. She shares that she was put on her first diet at age twelve. She felt accepted as thin, which led Lois down a painful path of striving for acceptance. Countless years of weight loss and weight gain became an emotional roller coaster for Lois.

One day in 2019, Lois prayed for an answer to her struggle, and came upon an IF interview with Gin. Lois dove into the research, ordered Gin’s books, and immediately began her IF journey.

Lois has lost 35 pounds. She enjoys the numerous NSVs (Non Scale Victories) this lifestyle has brought her: freedom, mental clarity, energy, and the daily sense of celebration. Lois has also healed her self-image, and feels a sense of freedom.

Lois’ advice: “IF can synchronize your mind, body and soul in ways you cannot imagine. A ‘better you’ awaits those who persevere. Journaling can help you to explore your feelings. Don’t over restrict. Avoid loopholes. Enjoy special occasions and vacations.”
