We have a place for that! There are many more useful spaces beyond these, and you can interact in as many as you like.

Visit to join us. An annual membership costs just over a dollar a week when you do the math. If you aren’t ready to fully commit for a year, join for a month and you can cancel at any time. If you know you’ll want to stay forever, we also have a lifetime membership option available.

IF is free. You don’t need to join our community to fast. But if you’re looking for support from a community of like-minded IFers, we are here for you at

Amanda is a death doula, sound healer, writer and poet. She was overweight as a child, and was put on Weight Watchers at age nine. This set her up for a lifetime of dieting. She also struggled with stomach issues. She was often sick but doctors were unable to discover why. Finally, in 2020, Amanda was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. She felt fatigue, and had a rash and flu-like symptoms.

In December of 2020, Amanda found IF through a Naturopath. She lost 48 pound in her first year of IF and felt great. Then in January of 2022, Amanda got Covid. In her recovery, she gained weight as her body healed from the virus. She still struggles with low energy and brain fog, but sees how IF is far more than just weight loss. Amanda will never stop IF, as she feels incredible peace and calm within her body.

Amanda’s advice: “Don’t just focus on the scale or the clock or what you’re going to eat. Don’t get stuck on the stats or data or expectations. Notice healing in your body. Live!”
