Ashley is a stay-at-home mom. In 2019, she found herself realizing gaining weight. Between the stress of a move to a completely new state and fertility meds to conceive, she gained 25 pounds in five months. Panicked, Ashley tried to find a way to lose weight. She stumbled upon IF and Gin’s book Delay, Don’t Deny after an internet search.

Ashley began her IF journey in August of 2019, but did not lose weight for almost a year. She had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 20, and immediately felt better physically. Ashley knew IF was the answer!

Ashley was able to conceive and stopped IF, then resumed IF after having her son. The weight came off with ease.

Ashley feels a quiet calmness with IF. She has gone from 177 pounds to 137 pounds. She no longer needs one of her MS meds, sleeps well, and has loads of energy. Plus, Ashley is expecting her second son!

Ashley’s advice: “Start slow and be gentle with yourself. Have a goal. Pay attention to how you feel. Let IF fit into your life, not the other way around.”
