Ashlee is an oncology nurse. In college, Ashlee gained weight after her mother passed away. She tried diet pills and various ways of eating, but the weight she lost would come right back on. After her second pregnancy, Ashlee reached her highest weight and wanted to give up.

Ashlee found an accountability group of women who followed Gin’s book Delay, Don’t Deny. This helped her to stay consistent with her IF lifestyle, but with all of the stress in her life, Ashlee stopped fasting. Then in May of 2021, Ashlee found the book, Breaking Free from Compulsive Eating and this changed her life. She switched to OMAD (One Meal a Day) and lost 30 pounds.

Ashlee has learned that mindset is a powerful part of the IF lifestyle, and is thankful she has struggled with finding her way with IF so that she can help others.

Ashlee’s advice: “Be consistent with IF and don’t overcomplicate it!”
