Season 1

Episode 156: Temple

In this episode of Intermittent Fasting Stories, Gin talks to Temple from Pembroke Pines, FL.

Gin’s new book Clean(ish) is available for preorder!  Gin wants to show you how to become clean(ish) where it counts:  you’ll learn how to eat (mostly) clean and live (mainly) clean as you unlock your body’s natural ability to self-clean.

Instead of aiming for perfection (which is impossible) or changing everything at once (which is hard, and never leads to lasting change)you’ll cut through the confusion, lose the fear, and embrace the freedom that comes from becoming clean(ish).  As you learn how to lower your toxic load through small changes, smart swaps, and simple solutions, you’ll breathe a (clean) sigh of relief and embrace your own personal evolution toward becoming clean(ish).

Go to for more information.  The book will be released on 1/4/22, but you can preorder now through Amazon or your favorite online book retailer.  Preordering is really important, as it gives the publisher an idea of how many books to print.

Temple is a retired police captain. She dieted her entire life, beginning at just 15 years-old.

In January of 2019, Temple found IF after searching for a way to lose weight.  She says, “I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.”  Obesity runs in her family, along with Type 2 Diabetes, and Temple was ready to change the path she was on.

She read The Obesity CodeDelay, Don’t Deny and Fast Feast Repeat, and instantly made IF her new lifestyle. Her favorite protocol is 22:2, but she varies it from time to time.

IF has greatly improved her health! Temple’s hot flashes and skin tags are gone, and her food intolerances and acid reflux have both disappeared. Temple has lost four sizes, going from a size 20 to a size 16.

Temple exclaims, “IF is the only thing that has been consistently consistent in my life. I will trust and depend on it today, tomorrow, forever.”
